Baked modak without oven|Baked Modak recipe with detailed description and photos .

The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is round the corner where we worship Lord Ganesha and pray to keep us healthy, happy and away from all the problems and I am sharing Baked modak without oven|Baked Modak recipe

The celebration for Ganesh Chaturthi is incomplete without the traditional sweet or prasaad of Modaks which is supposed to be the favorite food lord Ganesha. 🙂

Modak is a traditional Maharashtrian recipe which is made on the auspicious ocassion of Ganesh utsav as a prasaad to please the god.

This recipe is made with rice flour dough stuffed with the filling of jaggery and coconut. We can also add the variety of dry fruits & nuts as per our choice.

Now a days, everyone has become very choosy about the tastes, hence they are coming up with a lot of different varieties of modaks like chocolate modak, fried modak, mawa modak, biscuit modak, sugarfree modak, multi-colored modak and many more. But, the ones made with jaggery & coconut are the basic & most traditional form of modaks whose recipes I am sharing here.

In this recipe I have also given a little twist to the traditional modaks. Instead of using rice flour I have used all purpose flour to make the outer covering and instead of steaming I have baked the modaks in an air fryer 🙂 Here is the detailed recipe for making the Baked Modak recipe |baked modak without oven (Ganesh Chaturthi Special) along with the pictures:
