Sooji toast or rava toast is a tasty & quick breakfast recipe which goes well with tomato ketchup, green chutney & a cup of hot tea. This is personally one of my favourite breakfast combos. 😋

Ingredients:
- 4-6 Bread slices
- 1/2 cup semolina
- 1 capsicum (finely chopped)
- 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
- 1 medium sized tomato (finely chopped)
- green chillies as per taste (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup Curd
- Water as required
- Salt to taste
- 3 tablespoons Oil
Step wise Recipe for Sooji Toast:
1. Take semolina in a mixing bowl and add curd, veggies and salt. Mix well to make a paste as keep aside for 10 minutes. The consistency should be thick enough to spread on the bread slice.
3. Take the bread slices and spread the semolina mixture on them.
4. Heat a pan/tawa and spread 1 tablespoon of oil on it. Put the bread slice on the tawa in such a way that the semolina side is towards the base. Apply a little oil on the top and let it cook until the semolina side turns golden & crispy.
5. Scrape the bread slice using a spatula & turn over. Cook for a few seconds so that the bread slice gets crispy. Switch off the heat. Sooji toast are ready. Serve hot & enjoy with tomato ketchup or chutney.
Instructions to make Sooji ke toast:
- The batter should not be thin and flowy otherwise it will not spread on bread.
- Consistency of the batter should be thick & spreadable.
- Boiled sweet corns and other fresh seasonal veggies can also be added as per choice.
