Detailed recipe for Tricolor Mini Fruit Tarts – Mini Tricolour Fruit Tarts – Stuffed Tricolor Tarts Recipe – Fruit Stuffed Tarts – Tirangi Tarts -(Republic Day Special) – Yogurt Fruit Tarts along with the pictures.
We shall be celebrating 70th Republic Day of our country and like the way we make a variety of sweets of trademark food to celebrate other festivals, making food items consisting the colors of our National Flag is a way to celebrate our festivals.
In this post I have shared the recipe of very delicious Tricolor Yogurt Fruit Tarts. This is a very easy and quick dessert topped with flavored yogurt and fresh fruits.
As I have to make it tricolor resembling with our National Flag I used oranges, apples and kiwis for the topping but you can use any fruits of your choice like strawberries, bananas, grapes, blueberries, watermelons to make it more beautiful and colorful. You can also use ice creams, chocolate or whipped cream instead of yogurt.
The recipe has only two key steps i.e. baking the tarts and topping with yogurt and fruits and it takes very less time to bake precisely 10-15 minutes. This can make a great option for your kids birthday party or a get together with friends. We can have these mini tarts as dessert or even starters and the best part is that these are quite loved by kids.

Notes/Tips to follow
- As mentioned above, we can play around with the variety and choices of fruits to make the toppings of these beautiful mini tarts.
- You can use whole wheat flour or multigrain flour instead of Maida to make these tarts.
- While baking tarts may puff up like a chapati while baking. So, to avoid that, we need to prick it using a fork or place some beans (Rajma or any other beans) to keep a weight on it,
- I have baked these mini tarts in my Air-Fryer for about 15 minutes at 180 degree Celsius. If you bake in oven, it will almost take the similar time.
- I have used Vanilla flavored yogurt to make the filling but choice is always yours. 🙂
- You can also fill it with Rabri, chocolate sauce, ice creams and dry fruits to create more variations.
