It is a super quick, easy, healthy and a delicious shake with just four ingredients which is so good for kids too. It provides an instant energy and makes you feel so fresh and full as it contains the freshness of kiwi, goodness of milk and energy of bananas. I usually don’t like kiwi to eat just like that because they are sour at times and I am not a fan of sour things. But I love it in the form of a milkshake even without adding a lot of sugar. 😛

Adding bananas along with milk will make the shake very thick, rich and creamy in texture. You can also add vanilla ice cream or natural fruit ice cream to enhance the flavor but I preferred to keep it natural and sugar free.

In this recipe, I had added honey instead of sugar. The best part for me as usual is my son loves it and he could finish a whole glass of it which actually serves my purpose to feed him with milk and fruits. 🙂

How is a milkshake different from a smoothie?

Milkshake as the name says contains milk along with the other ingredients like fruits , chocolate, dry fruits and ice-creams whereas the smoothies is usually made up with fruits mixed with yogurt or curd.
Though both of these are super healthy and delicious, the texture is a little different due to the use of milk and yogurt.

Steps for Kiwi Banana Milkshake Recipe

  1. Take chopped kiwis in a blender jar.
  2. Add banana pieces and honey
  3. Blend it for 1 minute.
  4. Now add 1 cup milk. Pulse blend it for 2-3 minutes until turn smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour in a glass and enjoy. 🙂 You can add ice cubes also if you want.
