Here is one more of my Mango recipes. I can not have enough of the recipes made out of Mangoes. I assume everyone will agree to this.

This Mango stuffed Kulfi is so much in trend these days and I believe the mango lovers and the people having sweet tooth will not be able to resist this.

What is Mango Stuffed Kulfi?

As then name says, in this, the kulfi mix is to be filled inside the mango after removing the seed. Freeze it overnight peel it and cut into slices. This is an amazing and super delicious dessert to satisfy your mango cravings and to have something chilled and creamy during summers

Which Mangoes to be used for this recipe?

Any variety of mangoes which are available near you can be used to make this recipe. But, still, try to use the ones which are a little small in size like kesar, daseri or alphonso. I have used Daseri because it is very sweet and dark orange in colour and little thin and long in shape and size.

Notes/Tips to follow:

  1. As mentioned above, try to use the mangoes which are sweet and smaller in size. Sour mangoes will not be suitable for this recipe.
  2. Any kind of milk can be used for making the kulfi. I used full cream milk.
  3. You can add mawa or khoya to enhance the creaminess or adding more granularity to the kulfi but alternatively you can add milk powder in case you don’t want to use mawa.
  4. While removing or scooping out the seed, remove the top part of the mango. gently prick it with a spoon until the pulp becomes loose. Gently twist and pull out the seed.
  5. Put the remaining pulp back in the mango skin.
  6. Do not over fill the kulfi mix in the mango.
  7. Place the mango in a glass or a bowl to avoid falling or spilling
  8. After pouring the kulfi mix in the mango skin, refrigerate it overnight to set.
  9. The next day, remove the peel and cut into thin slices to enjoy. 🙂
